I started this series in 2013 as a creative outlet for myself during a particularly difficult time in my life. I wanted to challenge myself artistically and create something unique. I combined the beauty of the human form with copious amounts of blood, something rarely seen outside of gratuitous horror movies, creating a juxtaposition in the artwork that both elicits a sense of intrigue and simultaneously repels the viewer.
